01

The idea & the user problem

Parents of young children face a flood of advice — much of it alarming, generic or not in their own language. Ujjval Panth sets out to be a calm companion instead: understand what a child may be exploring at their stage, find something practical to try today, and learn evidence-based parenting skills step by step.

02

The product experience

Age-first guidance

Parents start by choosing their child's stage — from expecting to 5–12 years — and the experience adapts to it.

Developmental milestones

Stage-by-stage markers for newborn, toddler, preschool and school-age children.

Screen-free activities

A library of short, practical play ideas parents can try the same day.

Guided 7-day paths

Structured journeys for topics such as tantrums, bedtime and communication.

Parenting Academy

Bite-sized lessons organised into modules, with free preview lessons.

Naamkaran

Indian baby-name discovery by meaning, origin, rashi and nakshatra in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

Tools & tracker

A due-date calculator and a private milestone and play tracker for each child.

Journal & store

Researched articles plus downloadable guides and eBook bundles in Hindi and Gujarati.

Product decisions

  1. 1

    Three languages from day one

The product ships in English, ગુજરાતી and हिन्दी and asks families to choose before they start — content, names and resources respect the languages parents actually use.

  2. 2

    Start with the child's age

Instead of a generic catalogue, the first interaction is “How old is your child?”. Every later recommendation can be calibrated to a developmental stage.

  3. 3

Content and tools in one place

Articles, milestones, activities, guided paths, a tracker, a due-date calculator and Naamkaran live together, so a parent doesn't need five different apps.

  4. 4

    Calm by design

Warm paper tones, serif headings and no ads. The product promises “no spam, no panic headlines” — the interface is designed to lower anxiety, not raise engagement at any cost.

  5. 5

    Search-first information architecture

Descriptive URLs for names, milestones, activities and articles, plus structured data, make each resource discoverable on its own.

04

Technical architecture

  1. 01

    React

    Component-driven, route-split frontend

  2. 02

    TanStack Start

    Server functions and file-based routing

  3. 03

    Supabase

Authentication and data for the signed-in tracker

  4. 04

    Cloudflare

Edge delivery for the public site

Verified from the live production site: a route-split React application using TanStack Start, Supabase for authentication and data, served through Cloudflare.

05

My role

I'm one of Ujjval Panth's co-founders. The product is a shared effort; a detailed breakdown of my individual contributions will be added here once it's documented, rather than claiming every feature as my own.

06

Current priorities & lessons

The product keeps growing in depth — more activities, guided paths, Academy lessons and multilingual resources. I'll publish first-hand reflections on building an independent product in Notes, rather than summarising them here before they're written properly.
